Product Reviews
I do not receive any income for my blog. I am not paid by anyone to mention a product or to post a product review. I pay the costs associated with running this blog (domain hosting etc) out of my own pocket. I do not accept advertising in any form on this blog. Where I have posted a product review it will be because I genuinely enjoyed and am happy to recommend the product – for no other reason. If I have received the product as a gift or sample it will be made clear in the blog post.
I only accept products which fit with the character of this blog. I reserve the right not to feature a product which has been sent to me to sample on this blog. This can be for a variety of reasons but sometimes it’s simply because my other life takes over. Sadly, travelling and writing a gluten free blog is not my full time job….
The fact I’ve received a product to sample will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog.
I do not accept sponsored posts (so please don’t ask). Neither do I have affiliate links on this blog.
Although the free from market is growing in size every year, it is still quite niche and populated by many small companies and for this reason I am happy to support products I enjoy.
Restaurant Reviews
I only recommend places to eat out on this blog which I have personally visited, unless there is a very specific reason to do so. This hasn’t happened often but, for example, a restaurant in Stockholm recommended to me by the Swedish Coeliac Society but which I didn’t get to eat in because it was closed on the day I visited. I eat out often in London and the UK but only feature reviews on a fraction of the restaurants which I visit.
Restaurants open and close, ownership and menus change. Please double check before making a special trip to somewhere mentioned on this blog that it still meets your requirements.
In summary I only feature products, restaurants or services I have tried and enjoyed enough to endorse for other people to buy and try.
